OUR VISION
MINAVRA Hotel was founded in 1989 and has evolved over the years into its current form. Minavra was the port of ancient Eressos in Lesbos, and at the same time, it was the location of the temple of the goddess Athena, who in Latin is referred to as MINERVA. Through the corruption of the local dialect, the name evolved into MINAVRA, thus giving our hotel an interesting spiritual link to the history and tradition of the region.
The vision of Minavra Hotel transcends simple accommodation services and aims to create a holistic and vibrant environment that offers well-being and unique moments of relaxation. Specifically, we are already planning the operation of a wellness center within the hotel, offering services such as massages, a gym, sauna, and activities like yoga and Pilates.
SUSTAINABILITY
Furthermore, our hotel, with careful management of the natural environment, aims to reduce its environmental footprint in the coming years and offer a more sustainable guest experience. With the goal of reducing energy consumption and waste, we will install recycling bins at key points in the hotel for the management of recyclable materials. Additionally, we will provide electric bicycles to our guests, promoting the use of zero-emission transportation and encouraging environmentally friendly mobility.
